Talk at DANTE Autumn-Conference 2026
This Saturday, I had the pleasure to give a talk about the use of TeX in academic Philosophy at the DANTE e.V. Autumn-Conference 2026 in Wiesbaden-Erbenheim. DANTE is a TeX user-group in Germany and one of the biggest worldwide. I was invited to talk about my experiences using TeX in Philosophy and about transfering knowledge to fellow students.
In my talk, I tried to focuss on strategies to make TeX more accessible to students of the humanities and discussed reasons why its use remains relatively limited in academic Philosophy.
Many thanks for the conference comitee for inviting me and organising the conference.

First Workshop at University of Siegen
On the 1st of July, the first workshop from the latex-initiative took place in the rooms of the University of Siegen. The workshop covered a range of practical tasks, from compiling a first document to working with BibTeX and equations. Everyone successfully completed the exercises, making for a very productive and enjoyable start to the initiative.
Following this successful first workshop, we are happy to announce that the workshop will return in autumn 2026.
